Cost: N/A
Where: Foxwood Estate, Bath
Why: Atticus' birthday Season things
When: July 17th

The Foxwoods are extending an invitation to join them at their home in Bath for a black and white garden party - everything from the plants to the finest detail will fit the theme. Guests are asked to wear an outfit that also fits, although whether it's one color or a mix doesn't matter.

A tent will be pitched where food and drinks will be served. Lawn games will be set up for play, as well as a few card tables and games of checkers under some trees for guest enjoyment.  Archery will be set up as well, with enchanted arrows that bounce of whatever they hit outside of the targets to prevent injury.

M/UCAB | REP 7+ | DINNER PARTY

What: Daphnel Dinner Party
Who: Daphnels hosting for a carefully curated selection of society. This is mostly for Bea so most attendees will eligible bachelors or those with close connections to them, but there's also a handful of guests who made the list because Mrs. Daphnel thinks they'd be good wife candidates for Victor. MC guests would be "society types" and either on the wealthier side of MC or notable, like the Fisks/Rosses/etc.
Cost: Nope
Where: Daphnel house in Wellingtonshire
Why: It's a Bea-friendly hurling event
When: July 5th

Despite the larger-than-typical guest list this event is still trying to feel like an "intimate evening in." Drinks will be available as guests arrive and mingle in the garden which will be magically lit with orbs of soft light (as in Padmore Park, these may harass you). About 45 minutes after the official start of the event dinner will be served; this includes five courses and seating is assigned but no one is going to care if you swap place cards. After dinner there will be parlor games in (you guessed it) the parlor, while those not inclined to parlor games can instead head to the garden for drinks and cigars and things. The party reunites at midnight for a series of toasts (guest-led; this will involve at least one fairly awkward toast from a drunk attendee who is using the toast as a platform to complain about his life) and then disbands.

M/UCAB | REP 7+ | BALL

What: Fairy Court Ball
Who: Mrs. Daphnel hosting for society types. MC attendees would be wealthier, notable, or established friends of Victor
Cost: No
Where: Daphnel home, Wellingtonshire
Why: The dinner party is for hurling Bea, the ball is for hurling Victor. It would have been to celebrate his birthday but he insisted that he be allowed to do something he actually likes on his birthday.
When: July 22

An outdoor ball held in the Daphnel's garden, which has been magically expanded and transformed for the evening into a forest scene complete with some scenes of "fairy magic" (aesthetic only - no fae intervention in the night is anticipated). Refreshments are served atop oversized mushrooms, retiring benches can be found in the hollows within enormous trees, et cetera. There is one main dance floor closest to the house, with two smaller areas which can be used for dancing should the need arise (both are furnished with a quartet of self-playing instruments which can play through the same four songs on repeat) and one area primarily designated for refreshments and sitting down to converse (though refreshments and benches can also be found scattered through the other areas). These are connected by little forest paths which change periodically a la the Hogwarts staircases so it is possible to get lost, but not dramatically - eventually you'll hit a garden wall somewhere. The evening is lit by 'fairy lights' in a variety of colors. Mrs. Daphnel is dressed as the Fairy Queen and may or may not succeed in getting Victor to wear a fairy prince circlet.

UCAB | REP 7+ | DEBUT

What: The official debut of Mathilda Alderton
Who: Mr & Mrs Anthony Alderton I of London invite guests of good reputation in the upper class to their youngest daughter's debut on the evening of July 8th. School friends of Tillie's are also invited! (If you're unsure just ask!)
Cost: n/a
Where: The Alderton's London Home
Why: Society y'all.
When: July 8th, 1892

The ballroom will be decorated lavishly with hydrangeas in white and light blue. Refreshments will be served after the traditional pleasantries are conducted. The garden will also be decorated with magical lights and flowers surrounding an outdoor dance floor because Tillie prefers it that way and she had to havesome say.

ACAB | ANY REP | PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATION

Cost:
Where: Hogwarts' Great Hall

ACAB | ANY REP | FREE FOOD!

What: Hogwarts Prefects' Luncheon
Who:

Host: Hamish!
Invitees: All prefects as well as Head Boy and Head Girl, plus an adult +1 (parent, sibling, etc.). Heads of House and House Matrons will also be invited, but will not be frowned at if they choose to give it a miss.

Cost:
Where: Padmore Park
Why: Primarily to welcome new prefects
When: July 31st, 1892
It has been explained in your letter: your shiny new badge will act as a portkey, transporting you to the picnic location (in the case of returning prefects, you've been sent some small bauble or another to do the job).  A tent has been erected with a long table at which guests can dine, and various lawn entertainment such as badminton, croquet, and a large wizards chess set have been laid out.

One of the baubles (6th/7th year prefect) accidentally got swapped around at the Portkey Office during processing and instead will transport you internationally. This opportunity will be first come, first served, and is open to someone with a played adult to accompany them :P

UCPB | REP 7+ | WEDDING

What: The Marriage of Mr Enoch Rosier to Miss Brynn Malfoy.
Who: Upper classes exclusively. Are you a rich, upwardly mobile middle class person with a socialite wife, several respectable children and several centuries of pureblood family members? The Rosiers don't care, upper class or you're here to serve drinks. Speaking of blood it better be pure OR half, but with the caveat that you are friends with either the groom or bride or members of their family.
Cost: Nope.
Where: Ravenwood Manor; London, England.
Why: Two crazy kids being made to get married because their families think they're too old to be single: what could be more romantic?
When: 23rd July.

Remember when they were going to get married before but then Lauren and Lady were useless and it never happened? WELL NOW IT IS WITCHES! Do us a favour and pretend you never knew about the previous arrangement, this is a WHIRLWIND OF MEDDLING FAMILY MEMBERS.

UCAB | ANY REP | BALLET PERFORMANCE

What: Swan Lake at the Lake
Who: An international ballet has come to town for one night only, and it is a Hot Ticket Item for members of the upper class.
Cost: If you aren't UC or you are but are house poor, this is not for you.
Where: The Black Lake
Why: I wanted and excuse for Julius to be wet, tbh.
When: Monday, July 25th; Night

Come view Swan Lake as that foolish muggle Tchaikovsky could never have imagined: on the lake! The shoes of the dancers have been charmed to allow them to literally perform on the water's surface, and other magical aids such as floating lights and charmed costumes will allow this performance to be quite the spectacle. For the viewers, charmed boxes will float around to give them proper views (though one or two may go awry; no magic is foolproof). During intermission, beverages will be available along the lakeside as spectators return to ground to enjoy the cool evening.
