Friends: Edith needs friends, for how else would she establish connections and have friends in higher places? I can see her befriending or being acquainted with a handful of other middle class characters and some fellow former Slytherins she may have met at Hogwarts.

Enemies: Edith is sure to have enemies, what with her shrew personality and tendency to be quite cold to be people she views as disadvantageous to befriend. Maybe some working or middle class characters would think not-so nicely of her.

Lovers: Edith isn't looking for love right now.

I was browsing through Edith's profile and I think she graduated in 1890 rather than 1889—but nevertheless, I have a few characters who would likely know her!

Delight Urquart was a year above her in Hufflepuff. While at Hogwarts her father was Minister for Magic, but before she could graduate a scandal broke over her younger sister being a werewolf, causing her father to resign from his job. She now works at the Ministry.

Grace Greengrass was in her year in Gryffindor. She's not your typical Gryffindor; rather than being bold and boisterous she is nervous and awkward. Her family is practically bankrupt but they're trying to keep the appearance that they're still solidly middle class. She's a debutante but isn't very good at it. I'm not sure if they would have been friends, but they may have run in similar circles!

Frida Lestrange was a Hufflepuff in the year beneath her, but she might know Frida because her elder brother, Kristoffer, was a Slytherin prefect in the year above Edith. Frida was also a prefect, too, and head girl the year after Edith graduated. She's a debutante now and I'm sure their social circles are drastically different, but I'm still listing her because #yolo.

Dionisia Fisk is a few years older but is a working-class mediwitch turned middle-class housewife after she was accidentally impregnated and her best friend's (secretly gay) brother agreed to marry her. She feels very separated from MC society and so seeks the company of other "misfits" when she can, so if they met I think they'd have an interesting dynamic!

@"Helga Scamander" and Bella Scrimgeour were in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor and graduated in 1887. Helga is a debutante who still hasn't managed to snag a husband and is getting increasingly more depressed by the fact, while Bella had a falling out with her family, fell to the working class, and now works as a apprentice magizoologist. Neither are solid options, but still options nonetheless.

Yess, let's see... I think Edith would have known Dionisia, Delight perhaps, and Grace. I can see Edith knowing all three girls but not being particularly close with any of them. I can also see she and Dionisia growing to be close friends, I think they would have an interesting dynamic indeed!

Welcome Sam! I'm Fallin.

I think I have three (four?) people for you.

First up is @"Dahlia Potts" who was her year but in Hufflepuff. Dahlia is overly friendly but is also MCHB so I could see if perhaps she grated on Edith's nerves in school? Dahlia's family runs the florist on High Street in Hogsmeade.

Then is @"Anandhita Pomfrey" who was the year behind her in Hufflepuff. The likely had some courses together as all 1&2 years, all OWL levels, and all NEWT levels take courses together. Ani's family runs a well respected and exclusive private medical practice for both muggles and the wizarding community. She is a quieter but typical deb to be.

I'm not sure if you have someone to employ her yet. But if you don't (I'll have to check with Felicity Riley /Aldous Crouch, but I think we can make it happen ) I have Grace Riley who she could be the governess for her and her brother. She is UCHB but comes from a respected UCPB family (Longbottoms/Potters/Prewetts/Bones). If you think this would work she'd also have connections to Hermione Longbottom (Grace's great aunt and a respected socialite) and Felix Prewett (Grace's uncle) as well as numberous other played family members (seriously it is a big family). Anywho, just a thought.

Oh! And for people around Hogsmeade I have Everett Swann who runs a law firm in town and is single.

And then I have my long shot - but if you ever feel like running into a vampire, I have Galina who is lingering in the Forbidden Forest.

Interesting prospects indeed. I think Edith probably knows Dahlia, as you said, and Ani as well. I don’t have anyone to employ her yet, but Grace works fine! I think Edith may at least be acquainted with Everett, too. Not sure on the vampire. I can’t see her taking a liking to any, though that may change.

Henrietta Cartwright was around her year in Hogwarts so they probably know each other, but Henri wouldn't willingly be friends with a woman who works. It's nothing personal, just how she was raised.

I have two MC Hogsmeade residents she might know just from being around the neighborhood: Gideon Ollivander who owns the shop directly next to the Potts, and Fortitude Greengrass who is the older brother to Grace.

Not a ton to work with but there you have it ^^;

my MC working ladies are all a bit older, but I have Fallin's Dahlia's sister @"Daffodil Potts" who works at the family shop as a florist. I also have Tabitha Chevalier who is a couple years older, a former Hufflepuff and a healer at Hogsmeade Hospital.

Elsie here has a fair few years on Edith, but her mother is a well-respected governess around Hogsmeade!

Hi, Flynn! Sorry it took me a but to get back this. I agree, I think Edith and Henriette probably know each other. As for Gideon and Fortitude, I'd say Edith knows them too. :D

Friends: Eudora needs friends, for how else would she establish connections? I can see her befriending or being acquainted with a handful of other Slytherin middle or upper class characters, maybe some younger students she may want to protect or look after. I also would like for her to interact with some members of the other three Houses, if not for friendship then for networking purposes.

Enemies: Edith is sure to have enemies, what with her vanity and self-centered personality and tendency to be quite cold to be people she views as disadvantageous to befriend. Maybe some working or middle class characters would think not-so nicely of her.

Lovers: Eudora isn't looking for love right now, she's only 14!

I'm wide open for new threads and new plots! I'm still pretty new, so any opportunity to write is proabbly going to be just fine with me. Here's a few vague ideas. I'm open to other suggestions as well, I love seeing what others come up with. If you're open to writing with me, shoot me a PM and I'm sure we can work something out!

Edith: I'm hoping to find someone to employ her, but I'm open to threading other plotlines as well. I wouldn't be opposed to anything romantic, though I'm mainly trying to flesh out her character and work out her life as it is now. I also would not be opposed to female friendships that may develop into romace later on, since I have a working idea that Edith likes women.

Eudora: I would love just about anything with her, so I'm not suuper picky. I want to flesh her out, too! Not open to anything romantic obviously but I wouldn't be opposed to innocent crushes later on. I'm mainly interested in her Hogwarts friendships and such, though. i think it would be nice for her to have a circle of friends that see past her vanity and sort-of cold exterior, I can see others realzing that Eudora's not so intimidating as she seems.
