A Stranger Among Us

Dear Mr. Abernathy,

Perhaps you might be willing to meet me somewhere? At the risk of sounding as though I'm trying to mimic some silly mystery novel, I believe it might be easier to explain in person.

Somewhere off the beaten path, perhaps? I think society's interest (and Meredith Watchword's interest) has largely moved on, but just in case anyone is taking notice I probably ought not to be seen having meetings with strange men.

I'm available most days in the evenings (after the House of Lytton closes) or tomorrow morning before noon. Anywhere in London or accessible by floo is convenient for me.

Miss Juliana Binns,

I have a few options for us:
1. My flat in London, at [address*] - the floo takes you to the bottom floor, and we're on the third.
2. The Augurey Beak Cafe - it can sometimes be crowded, but we could meet in one of the back rooms, the owners know me well.
3. There's also Fudge & Sons, which is a little public, but in a fairly innocuous way?

Let me know which is most agreeable to you.

Sincerely,
Kieran Abernathy

Dear Mr. Abernathy,

Goodness, I did make this sound melodramatic, didn't I? Private residences and back room meetings! I hope when we meet you do not find my news anticlimactic.

The Augurey Beak Cafe might suit the purpose; we can decide on arrival if it's crowded enough that a private room is necessary.
