Soo... Hubs gave me my new laptop and while I'm at my MIL's still, I'm trying to get it all set up for things. With that said, does anyone have any recommendations for must haves on a computer? Whether it be websites to bookmark or apps/programs to have, let me know! It's been quite some time since I've had a laptop of my own again so I'm kinda starting with a blank slate!

If it's in the budget is recommended microsoft programs - notably word if only one - and an antivirus program! Those are the two programs I couldn't live without other than chrome - though Google docs is a nice if word isn't feasible. I would recommend the antivirus though.

PROGRAMS:

If you're too poor for Photoshop (like me, ayy), do GIMP. It's a decent-ish graphics editor :P
Skype and Discord are my messenger programs aaaaand spotify is good for music.
If you don't have Microsoft, WordPad is decent.

WEBSITES:

Google/Images, Charming, NickPicHost, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Snaggy are on my bookmarks bar
