Hey all!!

As a preface, I realize that what I'm asking might just sound extraordinarily and wildly self-involved and egotistical AND IM SO SORRY BUT HERE WE ARE.

So I'm currently on the job hunt and I've started to progress through a job that I'd really love to get. They've asked for some examples of my writing and while I'm going to give them some examples of papers I've written for school, I wanted to exhibit also a different side of my writing to show the range (professional and well-researched on one end, and then on the other end, purely for pleasure).

I have a few posts in mind and I'm gonna do some combing thru tomorrow but I wanted to ask you all if you might have any posts of mine that particularly stood out to you as being well-written or well thought out? AGAIN IM SORRY I KNOW THIS SOUNDS SO MASTURBATORY - but I also wanted to get an outside opinion just in case I'm like "actually I love this post" but in reality, it's actually a really bad one. And what better opinion to get than those who read your writing on a daily basis?

I love you all and also if you don't have any posts that completely stood out to you and you hate my writing THAT IS OKAY I STILL LOVE YOU.

I'm posting here to tell you to be less apologetic! Being humble is overrated and a social conditioning to keep our self esteem low because it keeps us depending on external validation.

That being said I don't remember any posts cause I only just returned, but I'm sure others will find lots of them <3

Roberto Devine @"Acacia Ruskin" Thanks to you both! I'm sticking with some more professional writing since I also realized they only asked for 2 pieces and it also occurred to me this isn't a creative writing job so not some job that I'd want to submit creative writing to. I also vetoed sending them a French paper I'd written too since they didn't ask for proof of my French comprehension, nor is it a job that requires me to speak a 2nd language :P but still thanks for the help I really appreciate it!! <33

Y'know what I really needed to hear that - er - read that <33 seeing as I feel like I do tend to apologize waaaayyy too much.
