1862: Born as the second son to the Abbott family, Gerald is quickly the favorite of the household due to how quiet he is in comparison to his older brother.Personality:
1864: The last child and only daughter of their family is born.
1867: Will was being obnoxious, then made Gerald's toys disappear! While Gerald approves of the nanny's reaction, their parents joy is rather frustrating.
Later in the year, Gerald accidently turns Alice green of all things. When he accidentally sneezed on her. Poor girl. It was rather humiliating for the both of them. But their parents praising him makes him feel as though it is worth it. And at a younger age than his brother! One could mention that in an arguement, though the sneeze will likely come up.
1873: The oldest in the house while Will is at Hogwarts, it seems fitting in a way. Not that anything could make that a more permanent status....
1874: Hogwarts arrives and Gerald is sorted into Slytherin. He doesn't understand his brother's quidditch fascination.
1876: Electives are offered and Gerald decides to take Ghoul Studies simply because two of his friends are choosing that one and none of the subjects particularly stood out to him. Alice joins Will in Hufflepuff. How disappointing.
1879: With only NEWTs left, Gerald decides to take up a career as an auror and promptly drops all of his classes besides Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Herbology, and Charms.
1880: Will graduates.
1881: Gerald graduates and joins in the auror training program. He still doesn't understand Will's quidditch fascination.
1884: Alice weds, which Gerald approves. But in some way it feels like she should still be in the nursery, being lectured by nanny. He keeps those sentimental thoughts to himself of course.
Then brings the plague. Father dies, and Gerald feels utterly useless, having been dragged to the country side estate by mother. Not that he could have done anything. This is truly beginning of just how bitter Gerald feels inwardly towards his brother, feeling that Will does not deserve the title of eldest son. But hey, Gerald is an auror now.
1885: At least Will has the decency to retire from his career of foolish fantasy.
1886: Alice has her first child, meaning Gerald is an uncle now. He is proud.
1888: Gerald finally feels that he truly wishes to begin looking for a wife, even if he is a tad on the young side. Though he is not too active in the wife search, he would not mind finding a nice woman to begin courting.
1889: Suddenly Will wants to marry, and so Gerald wants to find a bride even more. Most of his off time is spent wife searching now. He'll be damned if Will the Quidditch Player marries before him.
