Quincey,

I.. have a child. I don't know who else to even talk to or tell. If anyone.

You'll not say anything, I hope. But.. I had to talk to someone. What in Merlin's beard do I do with a kid?
Sincerely,
G. Ollivander

Gideon,

I'm sorry what? A child? Who the hell let you into their bed?

How in the name of Merlin's knickers did you find that out? Are you sure, sure? Really sure?

What is going on with this summer? It's like a circus and the damn carnival has hardly been here!
Cheers,
Q

Quincey,

First, I'm a bit offended you'd think a woman wouldn't let me into her bed. I'll have you know, all the woman that see me in such a way never leave disappointed. Perhaps we should compare just how many women we've had in bed and then we'll see who is laughing..

But seriously, yes. A child. Eight years old. Apparently, one night was more than enough and I've only just learned of it after running into said woman while in London. And I've really no reason to doubt the woman. She'd all but tossed the child to the wind when she learned of her magical abilities, which she apparently places on the blame on me.

Want to know the craziest bit? It's little Billie. The scamp that runs about catching rats or doing whatever odd jobs she can muster. Oh, and that also leads to a whole other bit of crazy that you must keep quiet. Billie is a girl. Not a lad. She insists on remaining in such a way for the time being though. I'm inclined to agree. I'm housing her in a room I added into the back of the shop. But I'd rather she remain a he until I can get a woman involved somehow.

But Merlin's beard. How in damnation do I go about that? I've never been one for romancing the ladies. A bit of fun here and there and never with the proper sorts. It's all one big bloody mess and I've no idea what to do. I think I'll go to that garden party out in Irvingly. The one with the foreign seer lady. Care to join me?
Sincerely,
G. Ollivander

Gideon,

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

I'm sorry, it's nearly unbelievable. You being her dad, not her being a... her. Billie and I are good friends actually, I always try to give as many odd jobs as I can. Merlin's beard mate, you're in some serious shit if all of this is true. I mean, she does kind of look like you... DAMN. You're so screwed.

Good luck with that. You know I'm useless when it comes to women. Have fun at that garden party, I have a store to reconstruct. Billie can hang with me that day if you need her to, at least.
Cheers,
Q

Quincey,

It is entirely unbelievable but her mother certainly knew who I was. I do remember her vaguely though. I didn't go back to that pub again though so I suppose it would have made it hard to let me actually know I was to be a father. And the lass is magical where her mother and even brother are the furthest thing from it. I about clocked the woman, I won't lie, with the way she spoke to little Billie. She's better off away from her.

And thanks for taking her in for the day. She quite enjoyed helping you out. The garden party was a bit of a bust, though. And now it seems as if I'm to be invited to some grand ball for the whole same thing. I suppose I'll go. Billie needs a woman figure in her life sooner rather than later after all.
Sincerely,
G. Ollivander
