A WCHB Ravenclaw from the class of 1871, Emilia is an Unspeakable and the wife of Christopher Moony. She's been in the DoM since 1883, where she focuses on astronomy — not that you'd know that part.

Plot hooks:

• Emilia would likely know friends of Edison Moony & Anne Moony, and is open to threads with them! She's open to similar relationships with friends of Bronwyn Moony, her sister-in-law.
  
• Ministry — obvious relationships in the Department of Mysteries, but Emilia also has a fraught relationship with the Auror Department after her auror husband went missing for eight months and was returned ~different.
  
• Academics, particularly those with an interest in astronomy, are likely to occasionally cross paths with her, although she is likely to pretend not to be an Unspeakable when she meets them. (Juliana Ainsworth Marlowe Forfang moon angle?)
  
• Pennyworth people — I am always interested in neighbor plotlines !
  

  

Philomen Huxley isn't specifically interested in Astronomy, but he has family connections in the field, and has a certain familiarity with it via osmosis.

She would definitely know Alice Dawson as Ned (and Anne Moony if memory serves?) often spent time during the summer (up until this past August where Alice ended things very abruptly). Alice is high key avoiding them but could be an interesting thread if they were to run in?

Similarly, idk what if anything Bronwyn Moony has told Emilia of her relationship with Dory but the two are living together now.

whee! I could see Emilia being willing to watch/entertain Sophia's children when she needs? She has a soft spot for other single parents. she would also find Thomas charming!!

Love the idea of her running into Ida in terms of research - Emilia is interested in the impact of the moon on magic, so they could need similar texts on the full moon and animagi and interact that way, which could eventually lead to Ida figuring out she potentially researches astronomy?
