Declan Plunkett

WCHB | Farmer | H '79 {OWLs} | rep 9 | single I needed more bachelors like I needed a hole in the head, but yanno, here I am anyway. Meet Declan, younger brother of @"Alfred Plunkett" and farmhand on the family ranch. He is the middle of five boys and as per usual where I am concerned, a little awkward. Hogwarts was tough on him, he was the goofy-looking funny kid, but it never felt quite right. He did it to try and fit in, but as he got old fell out of it. Fortunately for him, puberty and life on the farm have given him a little bit of a glow up, plus add a beard and he's gained a little confidence in himself, but not much. As an adult he soft-spoken, good with animals and doesn't often venture off the family farm, but they do own the general store in town, so he's in and out. Looking for... Hogwarts peeps who may or may not recognize him in adulthood. He only achieved OWLs, but knew he was going to the farm, so it didn't matter. He excelled in care of magical creatures and herbology and uses them both in his every day life. Fellow Hufflepuffs or classmates in his year or those of his better classes would be nice! Colleagues? though not a traditional magizoologist, he does all of the work on the farm with the animals, so would enjoy others who work with animals as well! He may need help with animals every now and then so would reach out! Hurling he's not ready, but I am! He might be hard to win over, but I'm hoping to do this organically! The Plunketts will be hosting a barn dance in early October, so that will be a good opportunity to toss peeps together!

He and Josiah Rohlwing would get along swimmingly and are both farmsy, outdoorsy types! If muggles are able to reach East Ridge Farm, he'd love lending a hand now and then. <3

ohh I dunno, it's in Hogsmeade technically, so I would need to ask a higher power how far the charm extends? I can get Declan to Irvingly somehow too, but it would be nice if they could bro out on the farm!

He and Fiona Little were in the same year/house and both Very Awkward and good at Herbology... though animals are Scary and she keeps a very respectful "I won't bother you, you don't bother me" distance. XD

I know you're shocked, but he's the same age as Gus lolol<3 and a fellow Hufflepuff. Do with that as you will. Lila was also his year, so they could potentially be acquaintances.

Also, he obviously knows Zin.

oh color me SHOCKED. I feel like they would have gotten along swimmingly, again, surprise surprise. Ohhh he might have liked Lila, she embodies everything he wishes he could be XD

Ha. So what I'm hearing is a reunion is in order soon xD And Lila needs more friends, and I feel like she'd be sweet on him. Bring the kids around to play at the farm if he'd let her.
