July 31st,
Ben,
You asked not too long ago what you could do to help. I'm sorry it's taken me this long to give you an answer, but I wanted to be certain of what I asked before bringing it to you. I think it's time we let go of the Irvingly house.
I'd like to move to the town here near Diana. There's a cottage for let that I've walked by a few times, it's small and wouldn't require more than a cook and Nora's nurse to maintain. It has a beautiful garden and presumably two bedrooms. I've yet to inquire about the cost of the house itself but I can't imagine it costs more than the Irvingly one does. If this one doesn't work, I'd be happy to begin looking for others set in similar locations.
Neither of us live in Irvingly anymore. I don't see the sense in keeping empty houses when the funds could be better spent elsewhere or saved for Nora's future
Please let me know when you've come to a decision.
