1877: The family moves to Hogsmeade which Ignatius finds tolerable enough. He is especially pleased to be so close to the Black Lake as he enjoys watching for mers. This same year, Ignatius's elder brother goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into _____.
1880: Ignatius's sister goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into ____. Ignatius starts to become quite excited for his own turn to go to Hogwarts though he also fears that his family might not be able to afford it considering how terrible his father is at keeping a job.
1882: Ignatius goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Ravenclaw. He managed to secure himself a scholarship that enables him to return to school after his first year.
1884: Ignatius's brother finishes Hogwarts and starts work as a healing intern. The family dearly hopes that he will prove to be more useful than their father when it comes to keeping a job. Those hopes are in vain as Ignatius's brother flakes out on his internship and decides to become an abortionist, to Ignatius's personal horror.
1886: Ignatius is preparing to take his OWLs and has fldegling thoughts of becoming a professor in the future.
1887: Ignatius makes the acquaintance of Miss Acacia Ruskin who would prove to be quite a good friend of his. Ignatius also flirts with the idea of undergoing training to become an animagus. When the half-breed ban sees Miss Ruskin expelled along with many other innocent half-breeds, Ignatius is indignant on their behalf. The ban is later overturned following the appointment of a new minister.
1888: With Miss Ruskins return to Hogwarts, Ignatius has become aware that he might harbor more than platonic feelings for her. Something he is quite conflicted about since he doesn't feel like he has much to offer her. Aside from teenage angst, Ignatius has solidly decided on both becoming an animagus and going into the Ministry when he graduates.

Ignatius hadn't seen Miss Ruskin for quite the long time. Between his internship and the things going on in her own life, there hadn't really been a good time to pencil in a social meeting. Not to mention that it would be a little odd considering their differing social classes and respective genders. Not that the latter two reasons were doing anything to stop him from agreeing to meet her now, of course.
Ignatius wondered if Miss Ruskin was now officially being courted. For some reason, it was something that he kept thinking about though he had gone back into denial as to why that might be.
Heading to the Three Broomsticks, he looked around for her as he entered and her familiar red hair was the first thing that he noticed. "Hello, Miss Ruskin," he greeted as he took the seat across from her. "It's good to see you again."
