The Wedding Announcement

The moment you all probably haven't been waiting for has arrived! Liliana's wedding will be at the end of June.

This is the WIP announcement because a) I wanna know if Trystan would host this at the Selwyn manor (Elias Grimstone) and b) I have really wanna elaborate better on the description before it goes on the calendar.

Lauren had informed me that Ambrosia will not be attending, discuss.

Should Cadawalader Selwyn/Madeleine Backus attend, Liliana has tasked @"Angelique Farbridge" to keep a subtle eye on him to make sure that he doesn't cause mischief.

What: The Wedding of Liliana Selwyn and Chester Parkinson
Who: Family and close friends of the bride and groom are to attend the ceremony. The ball afterwards is more generally open to other respectable members of the upper circles of society - though it stands to question how many shall attend a bastards wedding.
Cost: N/A
Where: Where will it be taking place?
Why: sheer, dumb luck Getting my girl married
When: June 30th - Wednesday, the best day of all

The reception/ball that takes place after the ceremony is graced with vibrant, pink roses. Placed in an outdoor setting, it features climate spells that make it the idea summer temperature for everyone in attendance.

Updates for Emrys:
- in September Witch Weekly mentioned he was courting Clarissa Cosgrove
- in the last week of October he quietly got engaged to Professor Angelica Vorona. He didn't go shout it from the rooftops but everyone would have heard about it soon because an engagement isn't the kind of thing you can keep a secret.
- you're all invited to his wedding & reception in mid November (event is up)
- he'll spend the next two weeks honeymooning in Beijing unless Angelica has particularly strong feelings about going elsewhere

I'm available for threads before/during/after any stage of this so just let me know if you want one!

Can I have an update on where everybody is at and what they are doing at the moment.... I've been a bit bad at keeping up to date and only just realised that Freya and Daniel had a baby even if it isn't technically Daniels ? Even an update on what your deactivated character is up to would be amazing for the selfish reason that I'd love to ground Anthea better


As for Anthea - she's basically been living the married to her career life and disregarding everybody in snotty arrogance because she thinks she's better than everyone else. She recently placed second in the wizarding chess tournament (and will advise that she did far better than the rest of you). So obviously I haven't done much with her hahaha.

ALSO A CALL OUT FOR PLOTS: I'd like to start to work on revealing Anthea's illegitimacy but as all the ideas come from an outside source and involve potential blackmail or something I don't have plans for it to be society gossip just yet... also if anybody wants to thread with her she's available for threads...

Additionally because it's Christmas time Anthea has gotten everyone chocolates which have been charmed with whatever charm would amuse you or create the most chaos for your character. There is no maliciousness involved, merely boredom as she was experimenting with the seeing how different charms would perform when applied to chocolate and you are a guinea pig. It is possibly that the charm does not even work as the intended charm was supposed to and has #sideeffects cause it's experimental chocolate

Well, Emrys got married. I assume you figured that part out because you tagged his wife. xD Married mid-November, returned from his honeymoon at the end of the month, is probably overdue to properly introduce her to the family but has been avoiding it. If we celebrate Christmas together this year he will be very drunk in self-defense because he anticipates Angelica + the Selwyns will not go well.

We should have another Anthea/Emrys thread! Either where he introduces her to Angelica (she's the only one he thinks might go okay) or where she badgers him about why he married her out of the blue after courting a different, much younger woman :P
