"What?" She asked aghast, stunned by his outburst. Penny hadn't meant anything maliciously, not in the least. In fact, her statement was perhaps one of the earnest ones she had ever spoken to him. "Nemo, I -" she what? How was she even meant to reply to that? Of course he was a gentleman, of course he avoided those situations. He was the most trustworthy and caring person she knew, Penny never once doubted that.
