Appearance:

Theseus gained the less-than-fortunate genes from his parents. He is of average height for a man, standing at 5’10”, very lanky, and seems to have never fully “grown into his body”. As a result, he was often mocked as a child which has somewhat continued into his adult years. He has always been awkward and looks somewhat depressing with semi-hollow cheeks and sloping brown eyes. His hair is of a lighter brown and always manages to find its way to his forehead when not properly styled. His fashion consists of the standard upper class men’s attire - he tries to make up in clothing what he lacks in personality and physical looks, though this often fails due to his structure. Theseus is right-handed.

History:

1856 | On August 5th, Theseus is born as the first child.
1859 | Theseus’ sister, Phoebe, is born. He doesn’t have much need to interact with her as he has his own agenda, however is somewhat intrigued by how the attention often switches between the both of them.
1861 | Now five years old, Theseus exhibits his first signs of magic when with another child. The little brat had been hogging Theseus’ toys all the while running away from him so he didn’t have to share. Theseus had become fed up with the boys actions and caused his laces on his shoes to knot themselves, sending the boy falling straight on his face. Theseus was ultimately surprised and took the toys away from the boy, however he did get punished and wished not to spend anymore time with him or other children his age.
1867 | Within the summer, Theseus received his Hogwarts letter and attends the school at the start of the new year. He had high hopes to fit in somewhere, though nothing had ever gone his way, so why begin now? He was sorted into Slytherin, oddly, and established very few friends within his own house due to his personality and confidence, yet gained a few in some of his classes. He flew under the radar for the most part, avoiding confrontation and public speaking as much as possible.
1867 - 1871 | Theseus had become a prefect due to, what he thinks, his outstanding obedience and has reason to believe that his parents may be influencing this decision somehow. He wasn’t someone who would normally fit this role, considering it required one to order their peers around in which Theseus was not great at. This put him in quite an awkward situation, however he took the job head on to please his parents. Within these years as well, he achieved great OWL scores and developed crushes on some of the younger students, mostly because they were not well acquainted with him yet and were hopefully more forgiving of his quirky personality. He also returns to school for his NEWTS.
1872 - 1874 | Theseus managed to arrange small conversations with a few of his female peers, seeming to go quite well over their duration. Though, unknown to him, they are feeling the exact opposite. Eventually, such is known to Theseus which places him in a state of depression, affecting his social interactions for a few months. He doesn’t let these emotions cloud his studying habits, considering high marks were a priority now that his social life was crumbling. The very few friends he had procured over the years comforted him in this time. Within this period as well, he developed an interest in Charms, hopefully pursuing a career later in life centered around them. He receives his NEWTS and graduates with great scores. He takes up a position at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes to later become an Obliviator to apply his love of charms into his profession. This decision ultimately brought some unease within his parents, though with reassurance that he could handle the constant interaction with muggles, Theseus convinced them that there was nothing to be afraid of.
1878 | With the development of Hogsmeade and the move of the Ministry Headquarters, the Greengrasses move to Wellingtonshire.
1881 (Summer) | Phoebe marries Atlas Yaxley.
1883 - 1884 - Present | Theseus is betrothed and marries Valeria Lestrange. The relationship is odd, to say the least. He shares little love for her - he is not in love with his new wife, but neither is she with him. Despite the mutual “affection”, they went to Italy for their honeymoon and upon their return, Valeria was pregnant. She gave birth in October to a beautiful baby boy whom was named “Tobin Cannon”. Fast forwarding to 1885, in September, he agreed to his wife’s wishes to take another continental tour which occurred early in the new year.
1886-1887 | The Greengrass' welcome a daughter, unfortunately still not Theseus' biological child, by the name of Venus. Valeria is also pregnant again.

Personality:

Theseus is quite unique in the social environment yet very determined and focused while working. He takes what he does very seriously, though this doesn’t shroud any ill will he may have towards the muggles he deals with. He is very much the stereotypical introvert who carefully establishes relationships based on interactions and interests opposed to the forced nature of social gatherings and family ties. Through his older age, Theseus has begun to transfer his direct emotions into bitterness and rage that he stores within, using this to manipulate situations and people for personal gain. He is quite easily pushed over the edge and reacts accordingly, however these reactions are often caused by Theseus’ inability to properly react to other’s emotional responses, making him a difficult person to work with. He is often critical of others too and doesn’t shy away from this fact.
