Appearance:
General | At 5’8”, Cyrille is not too tall but not overly short either; they're got an average build with subtle muscle and hidden athleticism. They're almost handsome but are a bit too pretty to qualify as either category. Their hair is almost black and their eyes are a deep hickory brown.
Expressions | Ams’ face is, unfortunately, naturally very stern and severe looking – their early life in the orphanage quickly stripped them of any baby fat, leaving them with notably high cheek bones that make them rather grave. They try to keep a jovial half-smile or smirk on his face to combat this and their eyes are exceedingly expressive.
Deportment | Cyrille is the epitome of casual; their default stance is hands in their pockets, one hip cocked out and a charming smirk on their lips. They carry most of their expressiveness in their eyes and are very talented at keeping their body language neutral and hard to read; likes to lean into people when interacting on any level.
Fashion | Surprisingly fashionable and stylish in choice of men’s wear, though their tastes aren't always very... British; still has a taste for French fashions and does actually keep up with the trends in their homeland. Leans more towards darker, cooler colors that highlight their pale skin and dark hair.
Accessories | Sometimes hats.
Scent | Vetiver, clary sage and oakmoss – altogether: a soft scent that is dry, smoky, earthy, woody and leathery as well as lingers.
Face Claim | Rain Dove
History:
1872 || A young wizard is dropped off at an orphanage in Wizarding Paris… Or, so they claim; they walked themself to the door with nothing but the clothes on their back and letter and not another (related) soul in sight. After reading the letter, however, the matron took them in; they signed their name Cyrille Amable – no last name. That Summer, they're admitted into Beauxbatons Academy of Magic; when going to the school, they are asked to give a last name for record purposes: they pick Dupont.
1873-1876 || Cyrille becomes well-known for being a mischief maker and is almost expelled several times but keeps remarkably high enough grades to earn a scholarship or two. They have a similar reputation at the orphanage, often rebelling against the workers, often being threatened with removal. After passing the French equivalent of their O.W.Ls with flying colors, they pack up and head out, leaving a trail of broken hearts in their wake. Rumors float through Beauxbatons soon after they leave; apparently, Cyrille wasn’t quite what they seemed...
1877-1881 || They travel Europe, hooking up with a group of traveling, mixed magical folks, taking odd jobs when they can wherever the roving witches and wizards temporarily settle. Though the travelers are kind, Cyrille finds the nomadic lifestyle isn't really their cup of tea; honestly, they just want to find their place in the world. They eventually break off from the travelers after they sleep with one too many ladies in the group; from there, they do some translator work in Italy and then up in Holland. As they grow into themself, they find charming their way into someone’s bed for the night is a good way to avoid sleeping in the streets and the practice of seduction becomes rather old hat; just another trick up their sleeve at the end of the day.
1882 || They arrive in England and find out the idiot Brits have pissed off the muggle government; they barely slip by unnoticed as they go up into Scotland to find the wizarding community. They settle in Hogsmeade but the town is just too… suburban? Rural? It doesn’t sit right with them - they find themself dreaming of the cityscapes and hustle and bustle of Paris.
1883 || They work for a bit as a bartender in the Slums, but quickly start to feel like they're wasting their potential collecting gossip and handing out drinks. After sitting back and comparing their French magical education to that of Hogwarts, they're pleased to see they might be able to get into one of the various Being Divisions of the Ministry. However, they decide to hold off until they have enough money to get a place in Pennyworth.
1884 || Just before the Laughing Plague sweeps through Hogsmeade, Cyrille vanishes; they quit their job and are simply gone.
1887 || When the Wizarding World reconciles with her Majesty and the Ministry selects officially back in London, Cyrille pops back up and applies for a job with the Spirit Division. They are, to their masked surprise, hired. They use the money they're accumulated over the last three years (doing who knows what) to get a flat.
1889 || Cyrille decides to get their apparition license and barely passes the test.

- Boggart: We don’t talk about it…
- Patronus: Male Chamois
- Amorentia: Unknown
- Other: They have their apparition license and prefer to use that for travel purposes (work smarter, not harder, yeah?) And is a gigantic Quidditch fan -- just adores the sport and likes most teams.
