Dear Tycho Dodonus,I was beginning to think you'd forgotten! I'm glad you wrote but you did catch me at a bit of a strange time, so apologies if this letter is a bit — scattered. Anyway, I haven't forgotten you or Mr. Williams and I'm glad to hear your show hasn't collapsed under the weight of doing the work yourself. I would love to see your device, but I have things I need to tend to today. Perhaps tomorrow after I finish work (around 5 o'clock)? Or else Sunday, if that suits you better.
Tell the gnomes something nice about me so they won't dislike me enough to go after my ankles. Maybe that I didn't send you off to Azkaban, for a start.
