"I suppose," Minty replied, though it hadn't ever occured to her that was a benefit of remaining in the shadows. It was true, though. If someone had a reputation of being virtuous and beyond reproach, people would have a harder time believing they had done anything indecent. Not that Minty had any plans of doing scandalous things. Still, she had been a Slytherin at Hogwarts and she remembered something he'd told her during an older interaction.
