Darling Thomas,
What, you’re on the quidditch team as well? How busy you must be, to fit in all this extra work and quidditch! I bet you’re so terribly popular! Go Hufflepuff!*
Though you’d best slow down on the growing soon, then - or watch out, you’ll be a giraffe when you transform!
But you would love London!!! There are all sorts of interesting things and people to see, and much more going on than dull old Irvingly. I have friends who are writers and painters and models and philosophers — and in case the arts don’t impress you, I am dear friends with a very talented potioneer, too. And - lest you think I am not most dedicated myself to my own pursuits - I have been considering taking up acting. It is not the sort of thing I could have ever done in Irvingly!
But you must come to visit me in London in the summer. I shall show you all there is beyond Diagon Alley, and as long as you don’t bring your father, we are sure to have a splendid time.
A thousand kisses,
Ester
