Phineas Black is the only one of mine in Edward's age range, but given the class difference and Edward's more liberal views, they're an unlikely friendship. XD

Baxter Keene  and Sydney Podmore  are my only other dudes even close in age, so do with them what you will, but damn I don't have much!

Well, Phineas and Edward would have been at Hogwarts together, but I doubt they would have socialised together and now even less so. But, both Phineas and Edward are in high-powered jobs so their paths might cross.

Eugene and Edward would be a better fit as they're both members of the Magical Equity Club and Ministry employees. We could write thread of them bumping into eacother at the Club or Eugene coming to Edward at work. Maybe there is something Eugene wants help with that a Department Head could help him with?
