Though one might have thought Ben found judging the student duels tedious and not worth his time, he actually enjoyed these a great deal. It gave him time to go to his old stomping grounds as well as see the potential incomers to the department. He'd seen Prewett's daughter judging earlier rounds and knew she would be participating in this bracket; an event he knew Prewett would be here for if he could.

Once Ben read the rules, he looked to Mr. Hunter and Miss Pucey before giving Mr. Hunter a nod. “Mr. Hunter, you’ll start us off.” He said. “Whenever you’re ready.”
