History:
Childhood | The last born and later in life son of Maeve and Flynn, Maeve's arrival was marred by tragedy. His mother died in childbirth and his father saddled the boy with his mothers name. Something Maeve II forever resents his father for - as well as mildly resenting his older siblings for letting it happen. He is a moody baby though one that rarely cries. He subsequently grows into a moody child. It does not help matters that his father often bemoans his existence and that his mother should have taken an abortion potion. Wow, thanks, love you too, father. His first sign of magic consists of slamming doors of the house shut. |
First Year | Maeve goes off to Hogwarts where he is often made fun of for his name. He is sorted into Slytherin. Maeve is not a sociable child but does decently when it comes to his academics. He tends to find his peers and having to be around them all the time burdensome. Still, it's better than being home where his father is. A lesser of two evils, if you will. |
Second Year | Maeve returns to Hogwarts for his second year. By now, he has somehow managed to secure a small group of friends. Even among them, he tends to be a bit of a loner but they seem to be accepting of that. Maeve develops a deeper fondness for Transfiguration, nursing a tiny dream of becoming an animagus someday. Though he supposes with his luck, he would end up stuck in a morbid half-transformation. |
Third Year | Maeve's third year comes with the addition of Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Runes and Ancient Studies to his time table. He comes to regret some of his elective choices as he comes to realize that some creatures are best admired from afar. With his OWL's coming in just a couple of years, he has come to find he has absolutely no idea what career he wants. |
