Dearest Mama,
What wonderful news! I am incredibly excited for our growing family. Can I pick a name? Even if only a middle name? Oh, I promise I will take my time with finding one if I do.
I'm sorry for the later response. Upon first reading your letter, I was attempting to respond promptly, when one of my fellow Ravenclaw girls asked for help with a homework assignment. Since then, I've been rather focused on such work, which I know that you and father would be proud of.
How are Euphrosyne and Parthena? I'm sure they are elated by the wonderful news. How are Frida and Gretchen? I'm sure they each have a respective list of lovely young gentlemen on their calling cards. Which reminds me to write them when I can. I do not see Meta much. I understand, given that we have no classes together and she has her own friends. It does make me worried that my own studies will get in the way when I wish to spend time with Euphrosyne once she joins me at Hogwarts.
How are you and Papa? You both must be so excited. I wish I could be there to celebrate, but at least we will have all summer. We can look at designs for baby clothing and find the latest children's books and we could read them together and see which would be fun for the newest addition to our family! I wonder if it will be another sister or a brother, do healers know before the baby comes?
With love,
Agape
