Miss Artistic,I did, as you will no doubt have gathered, stumble upon your advertisment in the Lonely Hearts section of Witch Weekly. From simple fact alone, I have gleaned that you are a brave young lady unafraid to use unconventional means to secure her future happiness, for which I do believe you must be commended. Like you, I am the eldest child in a comfortable and respectable family; like you, I have a found it difficult to form a lasting attachment to this point in my life.
Where I have, admittedly, stumbled in my romantic life, I have long excelled professionally. I am respected by my juniors and superiors alike, and am in a position of great responsibility. It is my hope that any future companion would not only respect this but take pride in it herself, and be able and willing to comport herself in an appropriate fashion for our shared station in life.
Privately, however, I confess that I am more reserved in nature. I relish not attending balls and dinner parties (though, of course, do cordially accept when invited), but instead find the greatest pleasure in solitary persuits and time spent with family.
If you believe we might one day make suitable companions for one another, please do not hesitate to respond. Regardless, however, I wish you the utmost best in the years to come.
Awaiting your reply,
C.
