Angeline Malfoy — Played by Lauren
28th February, 1890 — Gringotts, The Long Weekend
Angeline's panic rose. Gloved hand firmly gripping the ornate door that would lead her to the freedom of the street she tugged as hard as she was able and yet it would not yield to her attempts. Frustration made her kick the frame and the feeling of a small body zooming past her at close proximity made her scream inelegantly and immediately return her attention to the grand entrance hall of Gringotts bank. She certainly didn't want to pay attention but it was definitely necessary.
Chaos would have been a generous word to describe the scene. Everywhere she looked goblins seemed to be rushing everywhere and what had begun with Angel being bumped into by their careless passage had accelerated along with the speed of the goblins themselves. They were moving like bludgers: fast, directionless, seemingly unaware of their own actions and it had sent more than one customer flying to the ground and she had seen at least one man ran over innumerable times - he lay quite still on the ground somewhere near the front desk. Waiting for her father's return had meant she was by the front door but something was preventing her escape.
She dreaded what might be going on in the mines.
"He-" A goblin shot towards her - were they attracted to noise? - and Angeline jumped out of the way, bumping into a fellow patron. "My apol- Mr Abbott!" She sighed with relief. "Oh thank Merlin for a friendly face."

Before Angeline could form a response something collided with her from behind, with a force she would not have given a goblin credit for, and she tumbled into Mr Abbott, taking both of them to the ground. Quite winded it took Angel a moment to get her bearings and realise she had landed on top of the man.
Oh Merlin, how embarrassing!
“Mr Abbott I apo-” Two sets of feet, small thankfully, or else she would certainly have broken a bone, ran across her legs in quick laps and despite their size they were still sharp on the soft flesh of her calves and she cried out, rolling off Mr Abbott, eyes filling with tears of pain.

He hit the ground with a loud thud, his vision momentarily darkening from the impact. His arms wrapped around her smaller frame instinctively, as though he might further protect her from injury. The notion to retrieve her father was even further pushed from Will's thoughts now. If they couldn't even stand in the doorway without toppling over one another taking a cart down into the bank's depths would be impossible.
Before he could articulate any of these thoughts (or get them both standing) another goblin ran over them, causing Ms. Malfoy to cry out. (In another life, Will would've enjoyed the sounds of her cries, though they'd be in pleasure and not agony.) He sat up quickly and moved to examine her. Whatever injuries she had weren't visible to him, and he wasn't about to disgrace her by publicly lifting her skirts.
"I'm going to apparate us to the hospital." He informed Ms. Malfoy before reaching over to hold her and silently prayed she didn't get splinched. "I'll come back for your father. Are you ready?"

Nodding emphatically Angeline forced the thought of her father’s potential predicament to the back of her mind. Wherever he was there was nothing she could do for him and her legs felt as though somebody had taken a stiletto knife across the back of her flesh. Was there blood? She couldn’t tell and wasn’t inclined to look in the middle of the bank but she doubted she would have been able to bend her body to see.
Their feet were small but whatever magic was powering their speed today the goblins were just as dangerous as her uncle had always said they were. Sharp eyes, sharp ears, and apparently sharp toes.
“Yes,” she gasped out, taking his hand tightly in hers and closing her eyes. She had full faith in his abilities but she hated side-along apparition: her constitution was delicate at the best of times and the last thing she needed was to throw up her breakfast in front of all and sundry. “Please hurry.”
