This year, I would be very interested in learning protective enchantments. In particular, I would like to learn spells that help defend an area or a home. Protego Totalum is an example of such a spell that I think would be very useful. My family has recently relocated to Irvingly, and, while it is a bit more muggle friendly, I would like to be able to protect my grandparents from anyone who may or may not agree with their inability to do magic, or my father's blood status. I am also interested in learning a disillusionment charm in order to hide them from anyone potentially dangerous, even if we aren't at home.

I would like to learn a charm that would magnify my voice and make people listen to me. I feel like it would be handy for proselytizing people in Hogsmeade when we have weekends free and that it would make things a great deal easier. It would also give me a leg up if I wanted to be an announcer at the Quidditch games.
