Mrs. Victoria Bletchley nee Hill, Mother, and sister to Charlotte Quibbleberry. 1840
Mr. __ Bletchley, Father, a successful businessman and sponsor. He ensures his children want for nothing and make no expense unreasonable and is partially responsible for Georgie’s class ignorance.
Mrs. Anne Bellchant nee Bletchley and Mr. _ Bellchant. The married sister of Mr. Bletchley, she and her husband left her two daughters in the care of her brother whilst the girls attend school. They are often away looking after their business interests overseas.
Mrs ___ ____ nee Bletchley - The other married sister.
Ms. Elizabeth Bletchley and Ms. Mary Bletchley - Sisters to Mr. Bletchley, Also known as the Aunts. It is said that Elizabeth experienced a great disappointment in her youth and was engaged to be married when her fiance died. It is not known why Mary did not marry though Georgie finds her tastes in colours quite questionable.
Mr. Oliver Bletchley, 26, and Georgie’s eldest brother. He is quite Georgie’s favourite and she dreams of the sister-in-law a good marriage to him would bring.
Mr. Charles Bletchley, 24, and Georgie’s second brother. He is quite fussy and puts a lot of stress on how one should look, the latest fashions and appearances. He has on multiple occasions arrived late to parties because he hadnt been able to get his cravat in the latest knot and tried to engage other males in discussions about such things.
Miss. Katherine, Kate, Bellchant, 15, and Miss. Cecilia, Cece, Bellchant, 16, - Daughters of and Wards of the third Bletchley. It is Georgie’s opinion that they think far too highly of themselves and are often up to mischief.
Appearance: Babyfaced Georgie is quite pleased with her looks and her rounded facial features as she feels that they make her seem quite innocent and approachable. She has hazel eyes and easily tamed fair hair and is petite at 5’1”. She enjoys keeping up to date with the recent trends and her family easily has the wealth to do so. She favors pastels as she finds they show off her pale skin tone to its advantage. She is incredibly happy to finally be out of the black school robes as they do not show her at her best.
History:
1875 - Georgiana is born, quite a surprise after the gap between her and her brother Charles. She is doted on particularly as the youngest and never has a want for anything. A bright and happy child and wholly optimistic dark tidings and anything unfortunate is kept completely out of her sight.
1880 - The family dog, Puddlestowe, dies and rather than deal with the realities of explaining his demise to the young Georgiana he is quickly replaced by Puddlestowe the Second and his death is never talked of or referenced again. This pattern would follow with any family pet death.
1886 - It is unsurprising when Georgiana is sorted into Hufflepuff, especially to her parents, as they believe it to be the house that suits their happy, naive child best.
1888-1889 - Georgiana spends a summer agonizing over what elective she should choose, a decision made harder by the fact that nobody seems to be of help as nobody seems to have any expectations of her. She chooses Divination as her sole elective but also takes both Art and Music classes which, though not assessible, she enjoys far more than any of her academic classes. Her OWLs the following year are not particularly anything to brag about though she did not receive any failing marks.
1891 -1892 - Georgie continues to take Art and Music, and for her NEWT subjects takes Astronomy, Divination, Charms and Herbology, and Defence Against the Dark Arts mostly because she did not score highly enough in her other subjects to take them at NEWT level.
1893 - She spends most of the year preparing for her debut into society firmly wishing to “win” her season, especially as her dear cousin Louise, with her aunts help, manages to make a mess of the whole thing.
Personality: Optimistic, Perky, Happy and Naive. She dreams of marriage and children and an idyllic life that has no problems or drama. She sees, or attempts to see the best in any one and every situation. Bad things just dont happen as far as she’s aware and if they do… well, they happen to other people and if one tries hard enough they can easily be remedied simply by changing how ones outlook. She doesn’t intend to hurt people and always has the … best intentions?
