Miss MacFusty,

I sincerely apologize if this letter seems forward or incredibly random, because it most certainly is, but I felt compelled to write anyway, despite it not being terribly proper of me.

I forget how your name came up, but it did and then it occurred to me that Ginger and I had not had the pleasure of running into you and stealing buttons as of late. I then realized in the aftermath of the quidditch cup, things had probably gotten a little askew. It is a poor excuse, so please forgive me yet again, for I am certainly delayed in inquiring, but I do hope you are fairing better after the unfortunate events of the match. I hope your brother is holding out alright as well.

Please do not feel obligated to reply, but I had to reach out for my own peace of mind.
Best Wishes,
Mr. E. Scamander

Mr. Scamander,

How considerate of you! My regards to Ginger, please give her the button enclosed. It fell off my saddle bag and before I could repair it, Venetia (my horse) had already chewed through the strap. One (wo)man's trash is another one's treasure!

Thank you for the good wishes, I'm doing quite alright. My co-worker healed me up quite nicely and quickly thank Merlin. My brother was rather distraught in the aftermath, however, I believe he's doing alright. I hope to keep checking in on him from time to time. I don't think he's going to live this down easily with our parents.

All the best,
Miss Tilda MacFusty

Miss MacFusty,

Ginger was quite pleased with the addition to her collection, she took it quite fondly at set it atop the pile. Thank you for that. Hopefully you were able to repair the saddle bag accordingly without it!

It is quite the relief to hear everything has settled and that you and your brother are doing alright after the whole escapade. It was quite alarming, to say the least. I cannot imagine what he must have or be going through. Fortunately he has good family to keep an eye on him. I am all too aware of how well sisters can play the check up game.

Hopefully we'll have the pleasure of running into you soon.
Best Wishes,
Mr. E. Scamander

Mr. Scamander,

Sadly I wasn't able to salvage the saddle bag, however it made for some very lovely scrap leather for various purposes around the land, so no need to fret too much. Perhaps for Christmas I'll ask for a new saddle bag. I'm so pleased Ginger liked her newest addition! I should hate to think that my saddle bag was left for scraps and not go to good use.

I'll be sure to check in on him every now and then - both of my brothers can be terribly grumpy, but then again, so can my entire family, so we are well equipped to deal with such antics.

I hope I have the pleasure of encountering both you and your fine furry gold-loving friend soon too.

Your Friend,
Miss Tilda MacFusty
