Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1894. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.
I had witnessed your injury in the game but I had not known until I read it in the Daily Prophet that you had suffered a punctured lung! I hope you are resting up and not straining too much. I do not know what your diet must be while you heal but once you are able to enjoy them, I have enclosed a tin of cookies. I hope you do not think it too forward of me but I wanted you to know that there is someone thinking of you. As I am sure countless fans are as well.

Miss Lynch,
Thank you so much for you kind letter.
Your cookies were a real delight! The food offered during convalescence is, I'm sure of wonderful health benefits, but the taste leaves a lot to be desired, so the treats you provided did a great deal to keep my spirits up. It may be some weeks before I am capable of playing a quidditch, but perhaps a rousing game of croquet might be possible - that is if you promise not to cheat this time by accounting me with runaway chicks! As I remember our last game was rather more vigorous than I was expecting but I doubt I shall risk a punctured lung.
I am glad that you enjoyed the cookies. I can send more if you like!
I would very much enjoy joining you for a game o croquet! Perhaps in Padmore Park? The fresh air would do wonders for your improvement, I am sure. And this time, I promise that the balls we play with shall be normal ones and not enchanted ones.
