Appearance: Aziza is small in stature (5'3") but her physique is sturdy. She is toned due to her athletic endeavors, but only so much as is necessary. She doesn't want to ruin the curves of her figure. She has thick, naturally curly, dark brown hair and eyes of a matching color. Her gaze is intense and she seems to blink less than most people, which some find unsettling. Her face is all angles, with the highlights being prominent cheekbones, a chiseled jaw, and a straight nose. Her large, full lips are the softest part about her face. She dresses modestly and prefers cool tones. She is right handed.
Quidditch Background:
- Her father was deeply involved in the practice and business of quidditch, which she benefited from. She was allowed to participate in the sport far more than was usual for a woman of her status.
- She took to flying early on and played games in a casual, unofficial capacity under her father's supervision as a young girl. When her father founded the Casablanca Paragons, nepotism her talents got her a starting spot as a chaser on the team. Unconventional to be sure, but she was indulged when it came to her strange "hobby". It was expected that she would give it up after a few years to get married and have children, but that hasn't exactly happened.
- Experience with the Paragons prepared her well for a slot on the second string of the Moroccan national team.
Educational Background:
- Generally unimpressed by Europeans, the French in particular, Aziza would not have chosen to be educated abroad even if she could. At home, she and her female siblings were provided with excellent tutors. She was a dutiful and dedicated student in all things, with her specialty being potions. Her domestic magic is also surprisingly good.
-Fluent in Arabic and French. Passable English and Hebrew.
Personality: Driven and selfish in many ways. What Aziza might lack in a sense of familial obligation, she makes up for in personal pride. She has extremely high standards for everyone and tries to apply them equally, but can be hypocritical on some matters. She's highly disciplined and a physical person. Serious, focused, occasionally sharp-tongued, and demanding of respect. She likes social order and most of the way things are, she just doesn't want the parts that chafe to apply to her. She wants to play her sports unbothered, dammit.
She has these specific feelings on remaining unmarried at her advanced age: marriage and babies with any "decent" man who offers might be good for other women, but not for her. It's not that she's a feminist really, she just believes herself to be worth more than your "average" man with wealth. If she never marries, it's because she (and her equally picky eldest brother) never found a man good enough for her.
Regarding quidditch, Aziza strongly prefers to play the game clean - exactly by the book - and gets frustrated when other people resort to tricks to secure a win. She has talent in her position, but isn't a prodigy. She works hard to contribute when on the pitch, more interested in group success than standing out to anyone.
Other:
She would never admit it to a soul, but she is semi-hoping to never be married, to remain chaste, and take on a real career.
