Under The Stars
For your midterm project this semester, I'm asking that all students enrolled in Astronomy take this Friday night to join me in observing the stars. This will be an all night venture and I urge you not to miss it. Curfew will be waived for the students who attend. We will meet in the Great Hall before curfew and depart the castle together. Please be aware that if you are late, you will receive a zero for this project. Students will not be given any leeway with curfew should they try to attend after departure. If you are out of bed, you will be given the proper consequence.
Requirements
At least one post will be required to receive credit. The post should be dated March 27th 1889. If the post isn't dated, it will not receive credit. I will be posting an open group thread. However, should a student wish to thread with me directly, they need only ask.
Please note: Contrary to the description above, creativity will be rewarded. If a student is tardy and embarks on an adventure to join the class, this will not necessarily result in consequence. I believe in cultivating young minds and that most definitely includes bright ideas. Make your posts interesting and you will likewise be rewarded with internet cookies.
Rewards
10 points per post will be rewarded. The student with the most posts will receive a bonus of 30 points. The student with the second most posts will receive an extra 20 points. Subsequently, the student who takes third place will receive 15 points.
One thread will be awarded 50 points for most creative.
