Ministry Promotions Begin New Year
Macmillan, Prewett Rise in Ranks
When work at the Ministry of Magic offices resumed Monday, two employees did not return to their former posts—Mr. Charles Macmillan and Mr. Fitzroy Prewett, both of London, instead began the year with notable promotions.
Previously the Assistant Head of the Department of International Magical Co-Operation, Mr. Charles Macmillan has been promoted to Junior Undersecretary to Minister of Magic Justin Ross. Of his promotion, Mr. Macmillan said, "I'm honored to have been given the opportunity to work in such close proximity with the likes of Minister Ross, he's a singular and inspiring man and I hope to be working alongside him for many years to come."
Mr. Fitzroy Prewett is most notable for his time captaining the Chudley Cannons, but has spent the past several years as the director of the Quidditch League of Britain and Ireland. His efforts and expertise have been rewarded in the form of a promotion to head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports.
"I have many plans," Mr. Prewett said, when asked, "all of which remain under wraps—for now."
With Mr. Prewett known for a his energy and daring, those in the know suggest that expectations of exciting things to come would not be let down.
