Appearance: [Noelle has long blonde hair reaching past her waist. She usually wears it in a long French braid that reaches to the point between her shoulder blades. She is a little shorter than average height, standing at 5 feet. She has delicate features and a heart shaped face. Her eyes pale blue with large pupils and long lashes.
Noelle wears colorful dresses that are modest in appearance. She walks with a grace that is much similar to a mermaid swimming through water. Elegant and effortless. Her face is expressive but only when necessary.
A light dusting of freckles lays across the bridge of her nose. A darker mass of marks hovers about her shoulders and upper back. A dark brown mole mars the otherwise perfect skin of her collar.
Noelle is a metamorphmagus. She is very good at changing her facial features and the length and color of her hair. She has immense trouble changing her height. When she attempts this, it often looks odd and unnatural.

Noelle is born much to her parents’ pleasure. She proves to be their first and last child.]
Noelle transforms her appearance for the first time, shrinking her hair from her hips to her ears. Her parents are understandably terrified at first by the sudden change but are quickly informed that their daughter is a metamorphmagus.
Noelle discovers a love for the stars after traveling north with her uncle to see the northern lights for her seventh birthday. The activity had been a regular tradition between the two. Noelle takes an interest in the stars for the first time. She begins studying basic astronomy including the muggle theory of zodiac signs and the magical implications of astromancy or the study of divination using celestial bodies.
Noelle is sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts to the slight surprise of her parents. She is teased almost immediately due to her lack of blood purity. Noelle never fights back and never reports the bullies.
Noelle is noticed by the Astronomy Professor due to her academic excellence and independent pursuit of knowledge within the subject. Her Professor offers to include extra one on one lessons as part of her education.
Noelle quickly surpasses her peers in astronomy. She is asked by her Professor to assist in class teachings and tutor struggling students.
Noelle is bullied in the astronomy tower. The situation is noticed by the Astronomy Professor and the attackers in question are given detention for six months. Nova realizes this is a rather excessive punishment and requests that their consequence be reduced. Noelle realizes that the Astronomy Professor cares about her wellbeing.
Noelle graduates with flying colors and goes on to become a private tutor to homeschooled witches and wizards. She acts as a guest lecture multiple times at Hogwarts per the request of her former Professor.
Noelle becomes a private tutor following her graduation and continues her study of Astronomy independently.
Noelle joins a research group attempting to prove that future dark wizards can be predicted using astromancy. Her job is to track the stars for newly born witches and wizards within the groups chosen for study.
Noelle’s wizard father dies, leaving her muggle mother without a husband or purpose. He contracts a fatal strain of pneumonia and succumbs to the illness. Noelle grieves for her father but is thankful for her Uncle’s continued presence in her life.
The research group Noelle was employed with is disbanded from lack of funding and interest. Noelle is left slightly depressed and in search of a new position within the magical society.
Noelle applies for the vacant position of Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts and is granted the position.

Sample Roleplay Post: Nova wakes up being shaken by her Uncle Adrien. “Nova, wake up sweetheart…” He whispers close to her ear. He was dressed in a thick coat, and a green hat covering his red hair. His face was slightly red underneath the smattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose.
She rubs her eye sleepily as she sits up in her bed. “What’s going on, Uncle Adri?”
“We’re going to go see something cool.” He whispers as he hands her a coat, hat, and gloves. She dresses up slowly as she is still half asleep. He grabs her hand and leads her to the fireplace downstairs. They climb into it and he makes sure to hold onto her tightly. He tosses in some floo powder and yells the name of some inn that she doesn’t quite understand.
They end up somewhere way cooler than she was expecting. When they head outside, there is a load of snow by the roads. They walk towards a hill, where Uncle Adrien lays out a blanket and sits curling her up on his lap. “Here look!” She looks where he is pointing to see something awesome and unexpected. There were lights in the sky, shimmering colors of blue, green, and violet.
“What’s that?” She asks as she looks in awe at the lights.
“Those are the northern lights, Nova…” He whispers in her ear, as he tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and pulled her hat farther over her ears.
“Happy birthday, sweetheart.” She falls asleep watching the lights. Her uncle then bundles her up and carries her home.
