Appearance: Faye has a slight, boyish build (shes prepubescent so not really surprising), she stands at 4,7 tall with a rosy complexion. Despite her bookish nature she has sun warmed skin, and looks much more like her brother than she does her pretty sister. She has dark eyes, and a brow that she considers just a little too 'full'. Faye has long wavy brown hair, in the same colour as her brother, but in a similar texture to her sisters. She favors simple, and unfussy clothing and single colour dresses. She is right handed.
History: Born in 1876 Faye was the last child, and second girl of the Rookwood family. Unlike her siblings Faye has no memories of their life in the city before the muggles discovered the truth of magic, nor indeed does she have any real memories of her parents. Nothing coherent at least, feelings, impressions and glimpses of something that might have been memories but might have been constructed from what she had been told by her siblings.
Faye has never spent too much time thinking about her parents deaths, other than as the occasion of her first display of accidental magic. Upon returning to the house, and being told that their parents had died, Faye started to cry, but as she did her tears ran up her face and made small wet spots of the ceiling of the nursery.
The Rookwood siblings were shipped off to their uncles home, and Faye is relatively happy there. She is fascinated by the curious pets and odd books that her uncle maintained in his personal library. She wasn’t really supposed to be in there (according to Justice anyway) but it was so interesting and she spent as much time in there are possible.
Perhaps because of a similarity she sees between herself and her uncle, or perhaps because she never really knew her parents Faye likes her uncle, and thinks of him with great affection. She does not miss a former life that she doesn’t remember.
After Clementine and Justice go off to Hogwarts she finds herself very alone, and rather bored in her odd uncles house and aware that she was not as pretty as Clementine, and surely unable to compete with her in the femininity stakes she instead leant into the natural intelligence that she seemed to have in excess. She spent hours, and days on end in the library reading everything she could get her hands on and was encouraged by her uncle to indulge her pasison for reading. (probably because he didn’t want the youngster under foot and giving her a book was an effective way of keeping her quiet and out of the nannys hair.
The prospect of Hogwarts is everything to Faye – the idea of all the things she will have access to, all the learning, the classes and the library! She cant wait!
