CARNIVAL BACK ON
SOLSTICE FESTIVAL TO BEGIN WITHIN THE WEEK
Children and adults alike will no doubt rejoice to learn that the Summer Solstice Festival will begin at last!
Delayed by the fog—which caused a great deal of havoc—the festival was meant to kick off properly in June. Now that things are, more or less, normal once more, the festival is scheduled to begin on August 9th with the previously planned bonfire and fireworks. Admission will be free for that day only, in celebration of the fact that it may begin at last.
Carnival games, burlesque shows, acrobatics, oddities, and creatures of all sorts await the carnival's patrons, and sources say that those performing have made use of the delay to develop some new routines.
The festival is scheduled to last for precisely one month before moving on to its next destination.
