Unspeakables,
Given the spread of the fog to Hogsmeade, all Unspeakables will be immediately retasked (barring any projects which might cause death or national disaster if discontinued; if such a case arises please see me to discuss) to study its effects.
Questions to be answered immediately:
— effects of fog on stationary enchantments (e.g. the Ministry entrance from High Street)
— potential causes
— feasibility of devising a method to see through the fog despite its spread, or
— a method for continuing use of magic within the fog
— containment options.
It seems clear that we can not depend on the DMA&C to solve this. In the event that the fog spreads to disallow travel to and from the Ministry, I expect you all here; make appropriate excuses to your families.
