ooc: please note that Tycho has written an unsent letter each day since the first one on the 8th. Kit is the one who just does not have the brains to come up with that many. <3

It is your wedding night and while I try to distract my mind, I cannot help but wonder.. is she in your arms? Are you already developing private jokes that will forever be known by only the two of you? Have I already become only an echo in your mind? This is hard Ford. The hardest thing I have ever done in my life.

I was there today, you know? I saw you marry her. In the suit I had given you. How could you do that?

I think perhaps I shall partake in some opium to numb the pain in my heart.

Ever yours,
Ty

Can we dance like we're all alone
Stop the time and make it still

I was taken to the most diverting place today. I think you would have liked it. It was a secret place tucked away in Venice. Men dancing with one another like we were attending a grand ball. There were women dancing with other women. Not in the friends type way some young ladies in our society do - but the dancing of a couple in love.

I feel like I should have danced around in my home with you more. I should have turned one of my rooms into a private ballroom just for the two of us.

Ever yours,
Ty

Do you suppose you will ever tell your wife about me? Or at least that you had a person you loved even if you omit gender? I suppose you would not because you would feel it was selfish of you. I confess to have a contradictory mind myself.

I hope you never love her. For your own happiness, I also hope someday you do. See? Contradictory. One thing is for certain, I hope you at least can become friends with your wife. Perhaps even in that, there can be a modicum of happiness to be found for you in this whole sorry situation.

Ever yours,
Ty

I do not know why I continue to write these. I am not even saying a whole lot in most of them and yet each day, I take up my quill and write a letter to you. It isn't like you will ever read them. Even so, it gives me the feeling of speaking to you which feels nice. The thought of never speaking with you again, in the way we used to, fills me with an indescribable ache.

Do you feel that way too?

Ever yours,
Ty

Dearheart
Tonight I found myself wishing I had never met you so that I might not be feeling this emptiness and pain. Yet I cannot imagine what my life might have been.

As Keats put it;
O! let me have thee whole,—all—all—be mine!
That shape, that fairness, that sweet minor zest
Of love, your kiss,—those hands, those eyes divine
.

My darling, I shall never betray you by wishing I had never met you again, I swear it. My life would be made bereft if I had gone through it without having gained the knowledge of the curves of your hips. Or the way you gasp and tilt your head back when I first enter you. The way your chocolate curls cling to your forehead amid the sweats of our passions. Or the way you lazily smile in your sleep when I have loved you to exhaustion. It was such a rare treat since you usually had to rush home. Nor would I have been able to come to know the way you blush when I whisper poetry words crafted just for you into your ear.

Ever yours,
Ty

Tycho,

Thank you for letting me know.

I hope traveling was

I miss

We don't have any social plans that I know of, so it should be easy to avoid us.

I wish

Ford
