Standing at a miniscule 4’9”, she more than makes up for it in personality. Her hair is a deep brown and her eyes a stoney blue. She lacks any semblance of a womanly figure, which she is mildly self conscious about, though pretends otherwise. She’s slender and willowy, though don’t let that fool you, she’d just as soon punch you as serve your liquor. Her favorite expression is Resting Bitch Face™. She wears what she can afford and is right-handed. History: [August 26th, 1862] | Eileen Aine is welcomed into the Buchanan family as the first child and daughter. The Buchanans live in Sean’s hometown of Bantry by the bay where Sean is a fisherman and Evelyn a seamstress. They always struggle financially, but never too badly. [Childhood] | Leeny’s first sister is born in 1865 and she is thrilled to have a baby sister. Alana proves to be a lot of fun and the family is joined again by another daughter, Ceara in 1867. This last pregnancy and delivery take their toll on Eve though and they decide three is enough. Eileen displays her first sign of magic in the winter of 1868 when helping her mother in the kitchen. She knocks a bowl of cut vegetables off the table and they freeze mid-air before hitting the floor. At nine, Leeny becomes a laundress’ apprentice to help bring in money. She would do anything to help support her family. [School Year 1873-74] | Leeny is off to Hogwarts and easily sorted into Hufflepuff. She quickly makes friends with other lower class students, though automatically hits it off with Kieran Abernathy as the two are pretty similar. School is a struggle for her, though her mother had taught her to read a write, she feels behind in a lot of aspects, which is frustrating to say the least. [School Year 1874-75] | Her second year comes and goes without much ado, though she and Kieran keep up their old shenanigans. It’s hard for her to admit when she’s struggling and is forever grateful for anyone who bothers to help her out, though she also has a hard time expressing her gratitude. Socially she sticks to a small group of close friends for comfort, but doesn’t have as much trouble in this respect. School Year 1875-76 | Eileen adds Divination and Care of Magical Creatures to her classes. She knows she has to do well in her OWLs to keep going to school, so she puts in a lot of extra effort. [School Year 1876-77] | Alana comes to Hogwarts and furthers the strain on the family. She proves to be much brighter than Eileen and excels in school. [School Year 1877-78] | OWLs come and go, and Leeny scores well enough to continue in school, but with Ceara on her way in the following fall, Leeny decides to end her education there with Kieran so that her sisters can benefit from school. It would have been too hard to make it financially with all three of them in school and Leeny feels like she never really caught up to her peers in that respect, so it’s time to go. [Summer 1878 - present] Leaving her parents in Bantry, sixteen year old Eileen goes to take on London with Kieran and quickly finds work as a laundress thanks to her previous work experience. She and Key cohabitate for ease and financial reasons and people rarely bother them about it. She takes several odd jobs on the side to make money. In the winter of 1882 she takes up a position at at the Leaky Cauldron as a waitress. Her rough exterior and sass make the job fairly easy for her and the pay really is worth it. Kieran meets some new friends and Eileen naturally befriends them by extension. She sends money home to assist with her sister’s educations as her living expenses are minimal, sharing with Kieran helps immensely, but she also scores a lot of food at work, so that’s helpful.
