History:
- 1756: Theodosia was born, second child of potioneer Ambrose Bartlett and his wife Dinah.
- 1767: Theodosia began attending Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin after brief deliberation by the sorting hat between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. She fell in love with potions and expressed her intent to become a great potioneer like her father.
- 1769: At the start of her third year, Theodosia selected Care of Magical Creatures and Divination as electives.
- 1771: During the start of her fifth year, Theodosia was allowed to participate in the 1771 Wizarding Schools Potions Championship. A mishap caused by the representative from Koldovstoretz mixing up her supplies caused a Draught of Peace to go terribly wrong. Theodosia was brought to the Hospital Wing barely clinging to life but was unable to be revived. Her fragile state of hibernation deteriorated over multiple days until her physical body died on November 6th. With her entire self-worth tied to her academic achievement and ambitions for her future life, Theodosia bitterly clung to the material world as a ghost residing in Hogwarts Castle. She would go on to avoid populated areas of the castle, communicating with the other ghosts sparingly and mostly via ghostly correspondence.
- 1802: Theodosia had her first real interaction with a Hogwarts student since her death. She slowly began coming out of her shell and didn’t hide away from the population of Hogwarts Castle as frequently after the chance encounter.
- 1835: Theodosia took her first trip outside of the castle as a ghost. She visited the tiny Hogsmeade village in the dead of night and wandered like she did as a student visiting the village.
- 1877: Theodosia watched the exponential growth of Hogsmeade with curiosity but stuck to Hogwarts Castle more and more as the original Hogsmeade village became something entirely new and different.

Sample Roleplay Post:
Theodosia drifted down the first floor corridor, humming to herself. She had spent the morning in the dungeons, silently listening to the potions master lecture his O.W.L. students on the appropriate applications of moonstone. The topic was one she knew well and the class was not enough to hold her interest for long. When she reached a particular portrait she froze on the spot. To most people, there wasn’t anything extraordinary about the corridor. Most people hadn’t died in the Hospital Wing which the corridor granted access to. Theodosia turned to her left and sailed upwards, through a broom closet and into a corridor on the third floor.
Her emergence from the floor was met with a sharp breath and the clatter of a spellbook falling to the floor. When she spun around she saw the Gryffindor student she had just flown through while he reviewed for his charms lesson. “Oh dear, I’m terribly sorry about that. Please, carry on.” The boy didn’t respond, still a bit stunned by the sudden chill of her presence. She offered an apologetic smile before beating a hasty retreat up another floor.
Out the windows, students passed through the courtyard several floors below. Theodosia inched a bit closer to the thick glass and watched the daily bustle of everyday activities. The day before she’d heard two fourth-years discussing their plans for the upcoming Hogsmeade weekend. She needed to make another visit to Hogsmeade soon. Her last visit had been very enjoyable. She had taken a moonlit float through what the locals called Padmore Park and given a couple of shop workers quite the fright with her sudden appearance. There was always more to explore in that new bustling town, so unlike the Hogsmeade she knew. But that was later. For the moment her attention fell to a girl in the courtyard who had ducked into the cloister, having broken away from her friends.
Curiosity got the better of her. Theodosia journeyed down to the cloister to get a closer look. She approached the student and could hear stifled sobbing. Once she emerged from the wall she took a seat (or at least did her best impression of how corporeal beings sat) on the ground and looked over to the distraught student. “Rough day?”, she inquired softly in hopes of not scaring her too much with her sudden interjection.
