More Reported Missing from Hogsmeade

Panic is spreading in Hogsmeade after disappearances have continued at alarming pace. A representative from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement indicated that the office is 'exploring the possibility' that the disappearances are related, due to the rapid timing. The disappearances otherwise appear disconnected; they did not occur at only one time of day and are not limited to one neighborhood.

A child, Agape Lestrange, was reported missing on February 1st after her nanny lost sight of her near the Park.

Mrs. Thomasina Dempsey nee Pomfrey was reported missing by her husband on February 2nd, after failing to return home from her work at Hogsmeade Hospital that morning.

Mrs. Dionisia Fisk nee Tweedy was reported missing on February 2nd.

Mr. Tycho Dodonus was last sighted enjoying lunch at The Three Broomsticks on February 3rd and was reported missing when he failed to return home in time for dinner, despite having dinner arrangements with a friend. To date he appears to be the only male to have gone missing.

Mrs. Cornelia Pendergast nee Lestrange was reported missing February 4th when she failed to return home from a social call with a friend in the neighborhood. The friend later confirmed that Mrs. Pendergast had never arrived, indicating something happened to her during the walk between the two locations.

Debutante Miss Naeva Lecuyer was reported missing later that same day, having apparently disappeared while on a walk with her chaperone, who had noticed nothing to indicate where she had gone.

Until the cause of the disappearances can be ascertained, authorities are recommending that any woman required to travel within Hogsmeade do so with a companion; a male one if at all possible. Men are advised to exercise extra caution when traveling and keep their wands handy in the event of any commotion.
