Appearance:
On the taller side at 5’, Ludwig is almost always bright-faced and smiling. He has a slender though athletic frame from all of his and his brothers adventures. Big eyes with long dark lashes are framed alongside thick brows and short dark brown curls. His complexion is medium toned with a healthy glow from all of his time outside. He dresses well, but this is all thanks to his mother. He is right handed.

History:
Ludwig was born the third son to the Mintys, a pair of muggles who run a very small confectionery shop by the same name. With both parents engrossed in their shop it has left their children to a bit of a life of mischief as they freely roam their neighborhoods streets and venture into the nearby woods as they let their imaginations lend them on adventures.

Over the years Ludwig has found himself to be in a bit of a moderator role between his siblings as his two older brothers would often clash on what they thought the gang of siblings should be out doing. As such Lud has developed a bit of a tendency to remain neutral in disagreements while objectively looking at what each side has to offer. His brothers tease him a bit for often being the ‘goodie two shoes’ of the Minty boys as Lud will frequently hang back on some of his siblings adventures when it becomes obvious they are being far too daring with the risk of punishment.

Around the age of 8 Lud had his first sign of magic. A moment forever grained into the brains of all of the Minty children as while playing out in the woods they lived near, Lud accidentally dropped a toy into the stream they were jumping across. An emotional Ludwig watched the tragedy of his toy being swept away when suddenly, right as tears were about to fall from his eyes, the water around them began to rise. Globs of water danced upwards in spheres as Ludwigs toy rose from the stream just long enough for Ludwig to snatch it and have all of the airborne water come crashing down. The sight of the whole event left all of the Minty children awestruck and mystified, and since that day the spot has been commonly referred to as their ‘secret spot’ amongst themselves.

Having just learned of the existence of magic, Ludwig can barely contain his excitement about the coming school year.

-Recently got a cat upon learning he’d be going away to Hogwarts to study. It's a tortoiseshell with orange eyes and black fur adorned in patches of orange, tan, and browns. Her name is Ms Marmalade Toast [as given by his younger sister]. Lud simply calls her ‘Marm’ for short out of slight embarrassment as he doesn’t want to hurt his sisters feelings by changing the name all together.
-The discovery that flying is a real thing that is actually possible has Ludwig obsessively in love with everything that has to do with it. He dreams about what playing this ‘quidditch’ must be like.
-With his parents running a confectionery store Lud barely has a sweet tooth anymore, and is even pushing towards a dislike of all things with sugary goodness. This isn’t helped by his parents who often use the Minty kids as test subjects for new treats.
