Family: Vivienne was born to Lucas and Clarus Atwood in their inherited manor in London. Her father is a prestigious scholar while her mother enjoys the comfort of both of her homes (London and Hogsmeade). She has one older brother, named Lucas II, who works as a banker in London, with his own family. Her entire family have been Ravenclaws and almost all of them have dabbled in something scholarly of the sort.
Appearance: Vivienne is tall and a bit gangly in appearance--she's always been slim and long-limbed but now that she's in her teenage years, she can be rather awkward. Her hair is a deep shade of black, streaked with golden-brown, and it's a sharp contrast to her pale, flawless skin. Some would say she's lovely in a strange way, and others would pronounce her unnatural-looking due to her fierce smoky-violet eyes. Her wand hand is her right.
History: Vivienne lived for 6 years in the bustling London, but after her mother caught an 'incurable' illness, they purchased an estate in Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade. Mr Atwood often stays in London, while Vivienne and her mother--who has still not recovered completely--live in the much quieter Hogsmeade. Because of Mrs Atwood's sickness and weak demeanor, Vivienne has been brought up by her strict, no-nonsense governess, Ms Wetwurk.
Personality: Vivienne is out-spoken and passionate on things she cares about--such as books--but other than that, she can be more withdrawn and cold. She's naturally suspicious of other people and has trouble trusting in others and their abilities. Not exactly what you'd call a team player. But Vivienne is very confident in her own self and doesn't have many insecurities or doubts. She's a perfectionist in some ways and tries to do her best in everything, being very determined and hard-headed. Other than her circle of close friends and family, Vivienne hates interacting with everyone else, believing that they're a waste of her time.
Sample Roleplay Post: Vivienne had been reading a book she had nabbed from her father's library (now collecting dust and smelling moudly), when a noise of pecking erupted somewhere. In any other circumstance Vivienne would have been quite angry that anything would interrupt her reading, but this was not 'any case'. No, Vivienne had turned eleven in May and had been anticipating her letter of acceptance. Anytime she heard a knock or a peck or an owl flying in, she bounces to her feet and hurried down the stairs to see what it was. Finally, her owl had arrived! Vivienne smiled, a rare thing, and hurried to the origin of the pecking where a lovely Great-Horned Owl perched on a windowsill. It turned to her with deep red eyes, blinked a bit, then waited as Vivienne opened the window frantically. 'Thank you!' Vivienne said politely when the owl handed over the yellowed letter with its famous scarlet seal. She fumbled with it for a few seconds then yanked out the letter, fingers trembling with nervous excitement. 'This is it, this is my letter.' Deep breath. '"Dear Miss Atwood, we are pleased to inform you..."'
