1875 | On a trip to France with his family, Abbas is introduced to the sport of quidditch, but does not yet learn to play nor even pick up a broomstick.Educational Background:
1880 | While hosting a prominent French family, Abbas picks up a broomstick for the first time and is asked to play quidditch. He agrees, and finds that he's something of a natural. They play a backyard game with far too many rules even for his liking, and it takes nearly an hour to convince them to just play.
1882 | A quidditch pitch is built near his home, an he watched his first North African Quidditch League match. Still, he does not consider the possibility of playing professionally himself.
1885 | At the age of eighteen he impulsively tries out for the North African League with a group of friends... and is the only one to actually make the team. His father is less than impressed, but his mother—bless her—manages to sway him in Abbas' favor.
1890 | The Quidditch World Cup team tryouts begin with Morocco. He, naturally, tries out, and finds himself with a spot as a chaser before too long. He's never been to Britain before, and is all too eager to find out of if rumors of their arrogance and stuffy attitude is real.
