Mr. Cardew,

I will congratulate you, of course, for making the national team, but I think it is very unfair that they placed you on the second string! You are a talented chaser who has proved his talent and skill on Britain's Quidditch pitches. It saddens me that the Chuddley Cannons were overlooked entirelly for the formation of the first string. We may have lost our chance of taking the British cup, but we have proved time and again that we aren't a team to be messed with!

In any case, it is important for the second string to consist of talented players, seeing that those Quidditch games awaiting us are far more demanding than a Hogwarts match. I am sure that you will get to prove your talent on the pitch, when the time comes!

Yours,
Cecily Gallivan

The Hon. Jack Humphrey-Mavis,

Congratulations on making the national team, even as a second string player. I know that you are a talented and capable keeper and it is only due to his experience that Mr. Zavala got the first string position over you. After all, you made the second string over so many talented keepers!

Yours,
Cecily Gallivan

Mr. Lestrange,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and good spirits! I was disappointed to read in the Daily Prophet that you were placed on the second string of Britain's national team. I truly believe that you are the most talented seeker in Britain and it was unfair to overlook you in favour of [Person]. I hope that this won't affect your spirits overmuch. My brother has told me that something has been bothering you and I wanted to tell you that, if you need someone to talk to, I am here for you, Mr. Lestrange.

I have enclosed some chocolate snitches which I hope will lift your spirits!

Enclosed are chocolate snitches whose filling has a mild cheering potion so they make you more hype.

Thank you for the kind words, and for the chocolates. Hopefully I'll be able to represent the Cannons well regardless.
