Nakaari never knew his father’s surname as such he adopted his mother’s name, but almost no one actually knows or cares what that is, most simply refer to him by his nickname. In fact, Nakaari introduces himself by his nickname only.

Appearance:
Ri is tall at five feet and eleven inches and is broad shouldered. He almost has a stocky build but has been known to move quickly and is very nimble. He has a square face and darker complexion because of his father’s native american heritage and his eyes and nose hint at his mother’s japanese heritage. He has long dark hair that he keeps long as a tribute to the father he does not know (besides, the ladies seem to like it well enough). He has dark brown eyes that seem as if they are hard as stone and commands a deep voice. He prefers muggle clothing, although it is often shabby and in need of repairs. His wand hand is his left.

History:
Ri was born in the spring of 1859, the product of his mother a trick rider who traveled with the carnival for a summer before returning to America. He doesn’t remember much of his early wife but knows that in his wee youth he was often passed from woman to woman in the carnival. When his sister Iyo was born two years later the two were as thick as thieves. The carnival was their home and their playground and the children were free to roam as they wished.

When Ri was six years old he displayed his first sign of magic by levitating a guest’s bag of popcorn out of his hands and flying it into a tent for a snack of his own. The event caused his mother to scold him but Ri enjoyed his treat and shrugged off her punishments. His mother began to train him with the horses. Ri had always loved horses and enjoyed his time with them. Iyo, however, was the one to ride them as Ri preferred the sidelines.


As he reached his teen years he began to help move the carnival, setting up and tearing down. He was a strong lad and was often put to work at such tasks. He trained the horses but when the carnival opened he began to man the games and attractions that needed little skill.

Around this time he also began to realize that there was a lucrative trade in obtaining what could not be easily found. They passed through areas and he began to start up a healthy trade and build a reputation. At first it was just the guests, his most common request - opium. Then it grew to the carnies as well. He became known as a ‘procurer of things’ a role that suited him well.

Personality: Brooding, Protective, Quiet, Quick to End up in a adventurous plot that ends up in trouble. Likes gambling, drinking, and the such.
