Appearance:

January stands at five feet, two inches and has a slender build. She has greyish green eyes and brown hair. January wears clothing that is suitable for her class though she tends to favor more modest cuts of clothing than most of her peers. She is primarily left handed but has done her best to train herself to use her right as is proper.

History:

1869: January is born.

1872: October is born and January is secretly upset at no longer being the youngest of the family. She quickly gets over it as she spends time with the new baby.

1874:  At the age of five, January began her lessons with the family tutor along with her other siblings. She enjoyed these lessons, mostly due to her siblings presence. January also develops a fondness for gardening and cooking.

1876: January exhibits her first signs of magic in the form of 'summoning' a toy that a sibling had put out of her reach.

1877: The Lynch family move to Hogsmeade which doesn't overly concern January.

1878: August and February soon head off for Hogwarts and are sorted into Gryffindor.

1880: Finally, the time comes when January heads off to Hogwarts as well. She is ecstatic to be sorted into Gryffindor like her siblings before her. She sticks close to her siblings and has a difficult time branching out from them. She immediately joins the gardening club when she learns of it, however, and makes friendly acquaintances and friends within the club. January quickly proves to also have a bit of a natural knack for Herbology. January, after much thought, decides to also join the Potions and Art clubs.

1883: October joins the rest at Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin much to everyones surprise. February graduates and is among the first of the girls to be a debutante. The plague and fire also happen and August's friend stays with them for a while.

1885: January begins to notice the appealing differences between girls and boys. She develops quite the crush on one of the student Quidditch players. This crush soon fades and transfers to one of the visitors from another country who are there for the Pan-Magical Games.

1886: August is declared missing when he fails to return home after having been out on New Years Eve. As time goes by, the hope that he will return home dwindles more and more every day.

1887: January manages to ghost her arm during DADA class and it takes quite a while to set it to rights. Ever since then, her arm doesn't quite work as well as it used to and she is sometimes prone to dropping things if she tries taking them with that hand. This same year she has a rather intense though still rather innocent flirtation with a Quidditch player. In July, just as January has given up hope that August is alive and well, he is found.

1888: Not quite adept at society life due to her shy nature, January has begun pondering if she should request to pursue a Herbology apprenticeship.

Personality: Shy ~ Soft-spoken ~ Cautious ~ Imaginative ~ Slightly Naive ~ Intuitive ~ Protective ~ Loves herbology and gardening ~ Easily Distraught ~ Prone to dramatics.
Other:
- Once fucked up so badly in Defense Against the Dark Arts that she 'ghosted' her arm. Needless to say, she is quite incapable of casting the patronus charm and is bad at Defense Against the Dark Arts and most difficult practical magic in general.
- Has quite a thing for Quidditch boys, something that developed during her final years of Hogwarts and was only bolstered by a brief innocent flirtation she held with a Quidditch player during her seventh year.
