A Seminar?
#1

2nd of May
Mr. H. Darrow,

I hope this letter finds you in good health.

I am writing to you to talk about an idea I had. I have been thinking for a long time, about a seminar in which I will teach, to a select number of students, some of my spellwork involving clothes. I was thinking that this year's soon-to-be graduates would be a good choice for my students. It would benefit both those who will experience the Season as well as those who may need to find employment. I constantly find myself needing more employees, so the new talent could be discovered in such a seminar.

I was thinking, a group of perhaps fifteen people, those with the highest grades in Charms and/or Transfiguration?

Yours,
M. Lytton

Mr. Lytton,

I believe that such a seminar would be both practical and timely for a number of our pupils—particularly the witches already studying more advanced-level spellwork. My lone concern is that it might interfere with preparations for examinations—as you may recall from your own time at Hogwarts, the N.E.W.T.s are most certainly upon the horizon!

After an examination of my own (of the school's calendar), I feel that the evening of Friday the 15th or the morning of Saturday the 16th would be the only suitable options, ensuring pupils still have some time to take in the quidditch cup on Sunday and prepare for their testing, while still allowing adequate time for your own preparations.

If this is amenable, I am happy to offer the use of my own classroom.

Best wishes,
Professor H. Darrow

Mr. H. Darrow,

I understand your concern regarding the students' workload. The morning of Saturday the 16th would work perfectly. The duration of the seminar would be about two hours.
Yours,
M. Lytton
