I write to offer my most hearty congratulations on your Wizengamot appointment! I believe it speaks volumes of Minister Ross’ intellect and taste that he appointed someone with your experience and character, and I know you will do the job swimmingly.
(If I let something as foolish as a summer cold prevent me from congratulating you, I should be a terrible subordinate indeed, though I do write to you from bed).
