I write to offer my most hearty congratulations on your Wizengamot appointment! I believe it speaks volumes of Minister Ross’ intellect and taste that he appointed someone with your experience and character, and I know you will do the job swimmingly.

Apologies for the delay in replying, as I'm sure you've heard I've become terribly busy and important in a very short period of time. I'm sure the Minister knows what he is about, and I am quite honoured really, but I can't imagine the old guard of the Wizengamot will be overly thrilled. It's almost worth the extra workload for that alone.

I'm quite sure you will follow in my footsteps one day my dear, until then I'll keep the seat warm for you.
