Tuni,

This was originally going to be a howler, but two days and no magic later, I've dulled to a steady simmer. I need you to know that confronting Mr. Umbridge in the Alley was incredibly risky, not to mention a betrayal of my trust. Whatever I choose to share with you in regards to my personal life, I fully expect to stay between us. I would never and have never said anything about you and Mr. Bixby to anyone.

You could have cost me a huge scandal if anyone had heard, not to mention retribution for Mr. Umbridge at work. Whatever my relationship with him may be, I don't appreciate you mentioning it on a public street where anyone could have overheard it and taken it out of context. Clearly you're keen enough to notice that there's been a change in my tone over the course of our letters and you may have already gleaned that he and I are still in contact. I'm pleading with you to leave at that.

Febby,

I'm sorry.

I see no other way to start than with that. I realized rather quickly into that conversation that I should have never started it. Suffice to say, I clearly wasn't thinking. Not that that is any sort of an excuse. But I am truly sorry. I would never intentionally want to hurt you or cause you any hardship yet clearly I've done just that. I never anticipated such a reaction of him. But again, not an excuse.

I am fully aware that I am at fault here and I am sorry. I'm sure I can't apologize enough nor do I expect full forgiveness on the matter. But please know that I only want what's best for you and for you to be happy.

Tuni,

I know you didn't do it with any harmful intent. I'm not angry with you, I just needed you to know the intensity of the situation, should something get out. I fell in love with him, Tuni, and I know that sounds absolutely crazy, but I did. I can't jeopardize it with a scandal that would cost far too much in the long run if it became public knowledge. I'd be completely ruined and he could lose his job.

I hope you're holding up alright in London and that Mr. Bixby is treating you right. Hopefully I'll see you sooner than later.
Fondly,
Febs

Febby,

All noted. You will not have issues on my account from this point forward.

But oh, Febs, isn't it amazing? Love? I hardly expected for things with Rufus to evolve in such a way but they just kinda of..did. I don't quite know what I'd do without him at his point. I'm happy for you, truly, and I'll hope that all works out for you.

And Rufus has been amazing. A bit upset by the cancellation of Quidditch but that's understandable. I've been busy working at the museum already though and am loving it! Honestly, I think a move to London may be in order at this point.

Fondly,
Tuni

Tuni,

Thank you, I really do appreciate it. Everything is all so out of my control at the moment I just needed you to be aware of the gravity of the situation.

Being in love is... something I'll tell you that. It's... infuriating and impulsive and impassioned. It's making me do some crazy things, but I wouldn't change it. It's far from perfect but oddly enough it works.

I'm glad to hear things are going well for you and Rufus and that you're happy over there. I'm incredibly jealous you have the museum to occupy you. I'm trying to be on my best behavior over here and it's just dull. Send books, or a way out, please. I am truly happy for you, though. I will happily come visit you in London at any time. Perhaps when this fog is finally gone, I'll go spend some time at Uncle Reming's so I can see you at the museum.
Fondly,
Febs

Febby,

I wonder if I sent a bottomless purse could work. Think you could step into it there and then have the owl deliver it to me? I could get one here in London and then send it your way so that you can step into in your room and then step out here.. I'll have to look into it and see if it's even plausible.

But the best I can do is send you this book and some more treats from the bakery I've told you about. Hopefully it all finds you well so that you don't lose your mind entirely.

Fondly,
Tuni

Tuni,

Oddly enough I've recently been warned about the illegality of sending ones person through the post system, so that's an unlikely solution. It would be quite the wild ride though, don't you think? My mother would positively murder me however. I'd really like to live to see my next birthday.

Books and sweets are highly welcome right about now. I fear I'll be a chubbier version of myself when you get back, all I do is eat and write letters all day! Tell me more about the museum, Mr. Bixby, anything! I could use a good distraction in the next couple days. I feel I may need to resort to cross stitch or some other obnoxiously feminine pursuit to entertain myself!
Fondly,
Febs
