Half-Vampire to Intern at Hospital
Progressive Success or Deadly Mistake?
Hogsmeade residents might wish to consider making the trip to St. Mungo's for their magical health care needs. Earlier this month, a one Miss Acacia Ruskin was granted the position of intern in the spell damage department. While this might not at first appear alarming, one must remember that Miss Ruskin and her full-siblings - not to account for her newly required step-siblings and any future half-siblings from her father's new marriage - are half-vampires.
Miss Ruskin has thus far remained without known incident in the community, though sources have claimed that at least one of her sisters has been known to be more embracing towards their vampiric lineage. But will this good behavior from the eldest Ruskin sibling last? Or will making a career in the medical field be all too tempting for blood sources?
Mr. Baxter Keene was available for comment on the matter, "The Hospital has and will only benefit from those who are willing, capable and resilient enough to handle the position. Miss Ruskin was granted an internship based on her academic achievement and interview like any other candidate and will be held to the same standards. A healer serves the community regardless of gender, class or creed as we have done since the hospital's founding, this is no different." Time will only tell if this intern is like 'any other candidate'.
